Four Months

The little dude is quickly becoming a BIG dude. He "celebrated" with two shots in the leg and one liquid vaccination that he thought was pretty tasty! Graham constantly chews on his hand, sucks his thumb to get to sleep, sleeps all night, had his first true giggle-type laugh this week thanks to Miles, rolled over a few times this weekend, loves to eat (and spit up afterwards), and is a very laid back, sweet guy! Here he's sporting his big boy vest. Am I the only one who loves vests? I gather they are still in style this year....
Speaking of vests...the Bigs hanging out with Graham before we begin our crazy morning drop off sequence.

Big Jump

We spent last Sunday at my parents' house. The kids wanted to jump the hay bales and run up and down the rows. Owen was able to jump most rows, but Miles needed a little help. Grandpa's going to need to space them for four-year=old legs!!

Community Helpers

Miles had to dress as a community helper for pre-school this week. He went as a builder (although he really wanted to be Iron Man). He had a hat, but apparently it was too babyish for him. Thanks Mandy for the pictures.

Free Child Care

Owen and Miles are raising Graham while we just chill out... Not actually the case, but they are definitely great big brothers. Owen is especially helpful. Whenever he's sitting on the couch he's pretty much holding or feeding Graham (by choice). Miles is more of the entertainer. Here he's filling Graham in on the in's and out's of Halloween.

Season's Over

Miles had his last soccer game Monday night. He had a GREAT season--very aggressive, (mostly) paid attention, and had a lot of fun. He even managed some goals in his games!
Waiting for their end-of-season prizes. (His buddy Logan is the other one in just blue)

He loves the new bag and water bottle. Probably have to add this to the stash of stuff he likes to take to school and Debbie's.
Silly pose after the game. What a goof!

Halloween in the Ville

We went as Target employees to the Halloween party in Aggieville this weekend. Some people thought our nametags were real--I guess when you go to Target every other day you should know what they look like! Fun times. (Adam took a picture of all the girls....blurry!!!)

Madness in Manhattan

On Friday night we went to the "Madness in Manhattan" events at Bramlage. Sharla and her family were in town; the boys enjoyed having Brady and Brett to act crazy with. I thought the whole event was very well done and a lot of fun--we are definitely ready for basketball games!
Bleary picture of the student section waving their phones during the pre-introduction time.
Owen and Brady squeezed into the same seat most of the night....not sure why??
Miles was excited to see his favorite player, Jacob Pullen! I think the boys will love the games even more so this year. Even Graham enjoyed the night, but couldn't fall asleep due to the loud noises and switches from lights to dark. Go Cats!!

Pumpkin Patch

Miles' preschool class went on a field trip to a local pumpkin patch yesterday. He had been looking forward to it all week; he told me everyday what they were supposed to wear--evidently the teachers told them very clearly NOT to wear flip flops :) I had school so was unable to attend; my friend Kelsie sent these pictures.
Here is most or all of his class. He is in the back middle. His buddy Logan is in the class, but most of his other good friends in the class are girls--ladies man in the making!

Run Miles!

Miles has a week left in his soccer season. He's been sooooo much more aggressive this year, and has ended up scoring quite a few goals. Adam has taken him to most of his games and has relied on Miles to tell him where his team is. Well, Miles just looks for James (the coach they have on Monday when they are in a big group) and plays on whatever team is on this field. He's ended up on at least three different teams so far. **I thought maybe our soccer days were coming to an end, but it looks like he'll want to play in the spring now too...

Fun with Friends

We've enjoyed tailgating at a couple of KSU games this fall. Graham made it to one where he was quite the popular toy. I was lucky and had tons of under-5 baby-sitters. Here Tess Henry is feeding "Baby Dam."
We finally made it to a high school football game (weird to be in the stands with my family and not down on the track with my eyes glued on the cheerleaders). I bought these matching shirts at Ballard's for $2 each this summer. Here Owen, Grant and Miles fight with their water bottles on the way out.
The Stockwell's came to Manhattan for a football game and stayed for the volleyball game that night. I took the big boys and met them there. For having never watched volleyball, they were fairly entertained by it. Owen and Miles love to meet up with Brady and Brett--they match perfectly in age.

3 Months

The little dude turned 3 months old last week. He's chunking up and outgrowing clothes left and right. He's smiling and cooing a lot--VERY close to a real laugh! He's starting to prefer his thumb over the pacifier. Most of the time (as in this pic) he makes tight little fists that are hard to pry open. Still an easy going baby that loves to eat!

Pre-Schooler

In addition to the school work he does at Debbie's, Miles is attending pre-school MWF mornings this year. He was excited to be placed with several friends, and is also enjoying the new kids he is meeting. His teachers are great, and so far he hasn't been in trouble. Thanks to Lindsay (for the rides) he gets to stay on Wednesdays for "Lunch Bunch." He was using Owen's old school bag (which he was pumped about), but I found this Spider Man one for $2.74 at Target and he thinks it is pretty great. Here he is with Meg--playing guitars on their bags.
