Memorial Weekend in Denver

We spent the past weekend in Denver visiting Adam's sisters and their families.  We all had a great time--especially the kids!  During our time there we visited White Fence Farms where the highlight was feeding the goats.  After the quarters ran out (for purchasing food) the kids scavenged the ground for pieces to feed the goats and sheep.
The "adult girls" took the "big" kids to the Butterfly Pavillion where we looked at all types of butterflies, moths, spiders and a few ocean creatures.  They thought it was great, but weren't willing to hold the pet tarantula.  Check out the nasty spider web below.
The majority of the time was spent hanging out at Michelle and Rhett's house.  Owen loved their new sandbox; he and Raly spent hours perfecting their mudpies.  Miles leeched onto some farm animal game for the weekend, and continued to try on everyone's shoes.  Both of them enjoyed making smores.  I think Josh finally created the perfect smore by the end of the weekend!
Fortunately for me there was a little time for some shopping.  I have to hit up the stores that we don't have here.  Memorial Day Sales always make me happy!
And, of course, the dogs had an eventful weekend as well.  They took two long trips to the dog park with their "canine" cousins, Bozeman and Jersey.
On the way home we spent a day in Atwood with Adam's parents.  The boys took advantage of Grandpa Mike and Grandma Rosie and got plenty of ice cream and played with every toy and game in the house.  Owen told Grandma Rosie (as he was asking her to play ANOTHER game with him), "You stay upstairs and relax while I get another game."
Great weekend.....back to reality!

Sounds like a fun weekend! I was thinking of you guys and hoping you didn't hit any bad weather when you were traveling. How come all the pictures go to the bottom of the page and not with the post? Is that a way to get more pictures on?
