Go Big Red??

We made an impromptu trip to Omaha this weekend.  Adam golfed in a tournament with his former boss and a bunch of Papio friends.  The kids and I were able to catch up with Lori and her kids.  Lori and I (plus Graham) got to do a little shopping and catch up with our friend Michelle while Lori's husband graciously entertained the Bigs.  We stayed overnight at a brand new Embassy Suites, swam a bit, ran the halls, and headed home.  Unfortunately it wasn't a long enough weekend to plan a get together with the girls (not to mention everyone in the state had to watch the Nebraska game Saturday night).  It's always a little bittersweet to visit.  Love Manhattan, but Omaha was great too....

By age and size:  Olivia 9, Owen 8, Ben 6 (almost 7), Miles 5, Sam 3, Graham 1.  These kiddos get along so well.  You'd never know it's been two years since they've seen each other.  Miles didn't want to wear his KSU jersey.  John conned him into learning the "Goooo Bigggg Redddd, Go Big Red!" cheer. Hopefully that is short-lived.
